For a more sustainable environment, a scientific symposium discussing climate change and adaptation solutions was held under the patronage of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Prof. Dr. Jassim Al-Khafaji.
​The symposium was organized by the Women's Affairs Division in cooperation with the College of Health and Medical Technologies / Department of Radiation Techniques.
​The symposium was entitled: "Climate Change and Adaptation Methods."
​The symposium was presented by the Head of the Department of Radiation Techniques, Dr. Sadiq Halim Al-Murshidi, and Ms. Walaa Alaa Mahmoud, who addressed the effects of climate change on the environment and public health, and the methods of adaptation through a strategic process for improving resource efficiency and enhancing environmental awareness.
​The university emphasized, through this symposium, the commitment to spreading environmental culture, encouraging students to innovate and take initiative in facing climate challenges, and instilling the values of social responsibility and sustainability
