In line with its mission to develop its administrative and academic systems and foster openness with prestigious professional institutions, Al-Zahra University (AS) for Women signed a joint cooperation agreement with the Iraqi Society for Information Technology and Communications, headed by Dr. Eng. Ali Nasser Al-Khuwaildi, in the presence of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani.
This strategic move reflects the university’s commitment to building qualitative partnerships and integrating academic paths with professional expertise, supporting sustainable development goals in education and econ

Key Objectives of the Agreement:
Developing Training Programs: Launching a suite of joint programs to support the Continuous Education Center.
Meeting Labor Market Demands: Providing specialized programs to enhance the skills of students, graduates, and employees in both public and private sectors.
Digital Transformation: Developing internal digital systems to meet international standards, as highlighted by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Ghaida Abdul Hussein Al-Mulla.
Resource Investment: Increasing the university’s financial sustainability by investing in its scientific and training capabilities.
The partnership kicked off with its first joint workshop titled "Economics in Mobile Networks," delivered by Dr. Ali Al-Khuwaildi. The workshop explored the economic dimensions of the telecommunications sector and its impact on the national GDP, with the participation of students from Al-Zahra University and the College of Excellence at the University of Baghdad.
