Al-Zahra University (PBUH) for Women participated in the "University Challenge and Creativity Competition" hosted by Al-Noor University in Nineveh Governorate. The event featured a wide participation of (40) public and private universities from across Iraq, fostering a competitive environment aimed at nurturing student potential and encouraging academic innovation.
Following rigorous evaluation stages, where 19 universities advanced to the second phase based on originality and practical value, our students achieved remarkable results:
Third Place: Overall across all competition categories.
First Place: In the (Cultures, History, and Heritage) track.
Top Private University: Ranked first among all participating private universities.
This achievement was spearheaded by Engineering students with their innovative project titled "RE-Heritage." The project utilizes Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to revitalize cultural and historical heritage through modern, high-tech methods. This success underscores the university’s commitment to supporting pioneering projects that bridge the gap between tradition and modernity, empowering students to meet the demands of global technological advancement and sustainable development.
